Suruchi - Empowering Women

Suruchi is an initiative that works to empower women from all social classes. They currently run several rehabilitation programs for female prison inmates, amongst other things. Suruchi is well known for its wide collection of handmade cloth bags and accepts bulk custom orders.

Their office can be found in Jayanagar 8th Block.

They don’t have a website yet, but do give their cheerful and bubbly office a visit.

Anu Life

Anu Life is a non-profit which employs women to make shopping bags out of discarded tetra packs. Tetra packs are made of composite materials and are hard to recycle, because of which they’re sure to end up in a landfill!

You can call yourself a certified waste warrior with these durable and stylish bags!

Anu Life is based out of Maruti Sevanagar, near Banaswadi.
